Hey,
ReplyDeletejust wanted to say what an amazing, inspiring build this is!
I am in the process of building a board using a lot of your great ideas.
Yesterday I tried your stonework painting technique and something crazy happened.
I painted a building I made from Styrofoam. I outlined the stonework pattern with a ball pen and then cut grooves into the foam, creating a stone pattern this way.
When I applied the pigments with the binder the blue ink from the ball pen got transported to the surface somehow. :D now I have blue plaster lines!
Crazy!
Have you ever tried to emulate the plaster lines by actually using plaster after the paint job and wiping off the excess?
I will try this tonight, let's see how it works.
Thanks for the great builds!
Cheers
Julian
